About

I am Meital Maor, illustrator and musician living in the crazy city of Jerusalem, Israel.

I completed a B.Mus degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and went on to study at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design.

My goal in every illustration is to tell a story, that is why my work often depicts many details and emotion, be it humor or nostalgia.

I received my first commission, illustrations for a book, when I was 12 years old. Since then I’ve honed my skills a little, and am still happily telling stories through art.
